(54) Auxiliary switch actuator mechanism


(57) A circuit breaker with an auxiliary switch actuator mechanism is disclosed. The actuator mechanism includes an actuator member and a locking member. Upon resetting of the breaker, the actuator member is moved by the arm carrying the movable contact of the main breaker mechanism to a position where it is locked by the locking member. Tripping the breaker causes the locking member to unlatch and release the actuator member to switch the auxiliary switch contact to allow indication of the tripped state, while manual operation of the breaker does not alter the condition of the auxiliary switch.
