Alkaline cleaner for aluminum |
(57) A cleaning composition bath, concentrate for its preparation, and method of use of
an aqueous alkaline cleaner comprising an ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or nitrilotriacetic
acid alkali metal salt, an inorganic alkali metal phosphate, a surfactant and optionally
an aluminum sequestrant, other inorganic salts and an alkali metal hydroxide, if needed,
to adjust the pH of the composition to at least 11.0.
