(54)	A striking tool with flexible handle

(57) This invention relates to a striking tool in the form of a hammer or axe having a resilient handle. Briefly, the striking tool of the invention comprises a handle and a tool head, the handle including a handle grip and two legs each made from a resilient material, means for securing each leg in the tool head and at least one leg including restraining means disposed adjacent the head for restraining displacement of the head towards the handle grip.
