(57) In a method for the removal of harmful material 28 from an object 26, the object 26 is surrounded by an enclosure 10, the harmful material 28 is removed from the object and deposited within the enclosure 10, foam is introduced into the enclosure to cover the removed material, and the enclosure is removed from about the object.
