(54) Self-cleaning ultrasonic horn


(57) An ultrasonic horn having a bore extending therethrough has an inwardly directed shoulder located substantially at a vibratory antinode of the horn. The shoulder narrows the diameter of the bore and imparts an agitating action to liquid in the vicinity thereof to scrub the bore.
