(57) Protective material light in weight and excellent in fundamental properties for protective
material such as abrasion resistance, impact strength, cutting resistance and the
like and further excellent in thermal resistance, nonhygroscopicity, electrical insulation
and the like, can be obtained by use of a fiber obtained by melt spinning an aromatic
