(54) Self elevating scaffold


(57) An extendable tower comprises a plurality of interconnected frame members (51,52,53 and 54), the uppermost frame member (51) being provided with a working platform (55). Each frame member has corner portions provided with connecting means (58) for slidably engaging adjacent frame members and means (57) for extending and retracting the tower are provided on the lowermost frame member (54).
