(57) The invention relates to ceiling coving and provides a method of securing coving
to a ceiling, which comprises cutting a desired length of pliable coving from a continuous
strip (10), mounting abutment means on the ceiling and on the adjacent wall, the separation
between the abutments on the wall and on the ceiling being less than the width of
the coving strip (10), and pressing the coving strip (10) into the corner between
the wall and the ceiling, the abutment means serving to retain the coving strip (10)
in position and to constrain the coving strip (10) in the shape of a curved surface.
