    (54) Multi-function personal word processor


    (57) A multi-function personal word processor comp­rises a main body (l; l0l; 20l) equipped with at least a keyboard (2, 3; l02, l03; 202, 203), a display device (6; l06; 206) for displaying contents of information inputted through the keyboard, and a printer (9; l09; 209) capable of printing out the contents displayed on the display device, further including an image scanner (8; l08; 208) capable of inputting image information of hand-­written characters and/or graphic pattern, wherein the contents of information inputted through the image scanner is combined with the contents of information inputted through the keyboard to be displayed on the display device, the combined contents being printed out by the printer. The word processor allows desired characters and graphic patterns to be edited in desired layouts in an arbitrary manner.
