(57) Dislosed is a color developing solution for processing a light-sensitive silver halide
color photographic material, which comprises the compound represented by General Formula
(I) shown below and at least one selected from the group consisting of the compounds
represented by General Formula (II) and (III) shown below:
 wherein R, and R2 each represent an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms,

 wherein, in Formulas (II) and (III), R1, R2, R3, R4, R9 and R10 each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a sulfonic acid group, an alkyl group
having 1 to 7 carbon atoms, -OR5, -COOR6,
 or a phenyl group, wherein R6, R6, R7 and R8 each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 18 carbon atoms. This invention can provide a color developing solution for a processing light-sensitive
silver halide color photographic material and a method employing the same being excellent
in photographic performance for fog and maximum density.
