(57) The present invention relates to an antivibration means for a power-driven, vibrating
hand equipment (1), the equipment comprising a tool (3) designed to operate directly
on a work area, and drive means for transmitting driving energy to the tool (3).
The drive means is housed in a machine housing (4) which is subjected to vibration.
Vibrations from the housing (4) to the handle (2) of the equipment (1) are reduced
with the aid of anti-vibration elements (12) arranged between these elements. To prevent
vibrations from being transmitted directly from machine housing (4) to operator, the
equipment (1) is provided with a protective element (14, 15) connected to the anti-vibration
elements (12) arranged between the handle (2) and the housing (4). The protective
elements (14, 15) are movable in relation to the machine housing (4) and are arranged
so that it at least partially covers said housing.
