(57) This invention relates to the use of mixed esters comprising triacetin and n-alkyl
acetates as acidulants during textile processing. The preferred alkyl acetate is n-propyl
acetate. The acidulants are particularly suitable for use during dyeing of nylon fibres
and fabric.
