(57) Boiler adapted to be supplied with fat or semifat coals, which are coals with a high
content of volatile substances and which tend to self-compacting during burning thereby
preventing, in conventional boilers, a proper distribution of the combustion air. The boiler comprises a grill (1) which is mountÂed on a slanting frame (9) and consists
of a plurality of adjoining elements (3) having slots (5) through which differentÂly
shaped blades (7, 8) are reciprocated, the blades being articulated on a movable frame
(9) which may be displaced in parallel planes and parallely to the grill, by means
of a coupling rod-crank mechanism (18, 19).
