(57) The invention involves one or more sets of clamping jaw units which can be located
in various positions on a work table (2) and adjusted by rotation to provide multi-directional
clamping means; the units comprising a locating jaw (11) and a sliding jaw (13) mounted
on a locating seat (12), the locating jaw and locating seat being fixed on the work
table by selective insertion into respective socket holes (23).
