(57) A method of forming a colored zinc coating on an iron or steel surface in which
a base metal of iron or steel is coated by hot-dipping in a bath or or spraying with
a zinc alloy containing 0 1 - 2.0 wt % Ti and optionally up to 5.9 wt % Pb, up to
0.2 wt % Cd, up to 4.0 wt % Mn, up to 4.0 wt % Cn, up to 4.0 wt % Cr, up to 4.0 wt
% Ni, up to 0.05 wt % Sn, up to 0.05 wt % Bi, up to 0.05 wt % Sb, up to 0.05 wt %
