Colored zinc coating |
(57) A method of forming a colored zinc coating on an iron or steel surface in which base
metal of iron or steel is hot-dipped in a bath of or sprayed with a zinc alloy consisting
essentially of 0.1 - 0.8 wt % Mn and optionally up to 1.0 wt % Cn and up to 0.1 wt
% Ti, and the balance zn and inevitable impurities; as well as a zinc alloy of the
aforementioned composition for hot dipping or spraying to form a colored zinc coating
on a base surface.
