    (57) A pressure roller for a toner fixing device includes a core (10) made of metal or plastic, an elastic layer (11) made of foam material formed on the core and a layer (12) of porous tetrafluoroethylene resin on the outside circumferential surface of the elastic layer. The porous layer is impregnated with heat-resistant liquid rubber in its pores.
