    (54) Process for the formation of color image and band stop filter used therefor


    (57) A process for the formation of color images are disclosed wherein it comoprises printing on a color printing light-sensitive material comprising a blue-sensitive layer, a green-sensitive layer and a red-sensitive layer provided on a support from a color print original in a subtractive exposure process, and then substantially subsequently color development, characterized in that the effective spectral sensitivity distribution of at least two light-sensitive layers in the light-sensitive layers of the color printing light-sensitive material are substantially independent from each other in a wavelength band of 400 to 750 nm and thereby the average color mixing degree in each said light-sensitive layers is 0.13 or less.
