    (54) Antenna system

    (57) An antenna system for transmitting radio waves in the same direction as the direction of arrival of incoming radio waves. The arrival direction is detected by a fast Fourier transform processor (8). The transmitting direction is adjusted by phase-shifting (11) radio waves from a feeder (10) on the basis of the detected arrival direction. Further, signals in the system are transmitted through optical fibers (6) in order to decrease the processing time.
