    (54) Touch contacts for hearing aid volume control


    (57) Touch contacts 20 for touch sensitive amplifica­tion adjustment of a hearing aid H adapted to be inserted in the ear canal are located adjacent the battery door 16 on the face plate 12 of the hearing aid, allowing the touch contacts 20 to be easily touched when the hearing aid is installed. Preferably the touch contacts 20 are located on the edges of guides 18 adjacent the battery door 16, forming the most prominent point on the hearing aid when installed.
