Detergent composition |
(57) A detergent composition in the form of a solid, shaped article suitable for application
as a pretreatment of spots or stains prior to laundering, and having a composition
which is not substantially harder than toilet soap, is characterised by the incorporation
of a bleach which is preferably an inorganic peroxygen bleach. Extrudable and castable
compositions are disclosed. Incorporation of a hygroscopic, hydratable salt is very
strongly preferred.
