(54)	Disposable clothing shield and method of manufacture

(57) The clothing shield is intended to protect clothing against body stains, such as underarm stains, and generally comprises a liquid-pervious bodyside liner (4), a liquid-impervious outer cover (6), and an absorbent medium (8) between the liner (4) and outer cover (6). The exposed side of the outer cover (6) has a masking surface (20) thereon that visually masks the clothing shield through the article of clothing. A method is also provided for making the shield.
