Foam saturation and release coating of a fibrous substrate |
(57) A release coating is applied to a paper web or other woven or non-woven substrate
in the form of a foam. A foamed saturant can also be applied to the paper web or other
substrate followed by the application of a foamed or unfoamed release coating composition
to the paper web, without an intermediate drying step between the application of the
foamed saturant, and the application of the release coating.
