Thickened pourable aqueous abrasive cleanser |
(57) This invention provides a thickened aqueous hard surface abrasive scouring cleanser
having improved cleaning efficacy due to the presence of an organic solvent in the
composition. It has surprisingly been found that an organic solvent can be included
in an abrasive, surfactant, electrolyte/buffer, soap and colloidal alumina thickened
composition without causing the system to become unstable. The abrasive cleanser of
this invention has a smoothly flowable or plastic, preferably pourable, consistency
and has stable abrasive-suspension characteristics over long periods of time.
