    (57) A lifting carrier truck, especially for stores with mechanical handling, comprising a truck (1) movable on rails (2) in a passageway between opposite racks (17) of shelves, the truck carrying columns (3) extending through the entire height of the racks (17), along which columns (3) a cradle (4) can be vertically raised, wherein the cradle has a width substantially equal to, or slightly less than, the free space between each pair of facing racks (17), and above which cradle (4) there is a movable carriage (11), adapted for carrying an object to be placed in the rack, which carriage loads the cradle (4) only vertically, and can be displaced between a carrying position, in which the carriage rests entirely on the cradle (4), and a position for depositing on or collecting from the rack (17), in which the carriage (11) rests entirely upon the rack itself.
