(57) A window structure comprises a frame (110) having upper and lower frame portions

c) spaced by opposed side portions and defining an opening for receiving a window pane.
The frame is at least partially secured to a building by mortar (24). In order to
provide ventilation through the window structure at least part of the mortar either
above and/or below and/or to the sides of the frame is replaced with a ventilator
