BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a bag for holding balsamic herbs to be used for
preparing baths for the buty culture of the human body.
[0002] As is known several beauty substances, either of the liquid or solid type, are generally
used in the cosmetic field.
[0003] Those products, which are frequently based on vegetables such as concentrated herb
extracts and the like, are generally made by rather complex industrial methods, with
a consequent great increase of the finished product.
[0004] Thus, the use of these products is generally limited to the beauty culture of the
human face, even if they could be advantageously used also for the beauty culture
of the overall human body.
[0005] In this connection it should be pointed out that it would be possible to use vegetable
extract holding liquid products;however, apart from the comparatively great cost of
these products, their use is rather difficult because of the requirement of precisely
metering the products in bath water.
[0006] Another possibility is that of directly introducing the balsamic herbs (either in
the fresh or dried condition) into the bath water: however this method is affected
by several drawbacks such as the requirement of accurately cleaning the bath tub after
use and wash the body with fresh water in order to remove herb residues, which decreases
the benefic effects of the beauty treatment.
[0007] The invention sets out to overcome the above mentioned drawbacks by producing a thermosealed
bag container specifically designed for holding beauty culture herbs.
[0008] Within the scope of the above mentioned aim, a main object of the present invention
is to provide such a balsamic herb bag which is adapted to perfectly preserve the
contained herbs against moisture, mould and the like.
[0009] Another object of the invention is to provide such a bag which affords the possibility
of easily and quickly preparing beauty baths, while preventing the balsamic herbs from
blocking the bath tub discharging outlet.
[0010] Yet another object of the invention is to provide such a bag which is effective to
precisely meter the balsamic herb amount depending on the bath water amount.
[0011] Yet another object of the invention is to provide such a bag which can be made starting
from easily available materials, with a very reduced making cost.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0012] These and other characteristics of the invention will become more apparent from the
following detailed description of a preferred embodiment thereof, which is illustrated,by
way of an indicative but not limitative example,in the accompanying drawings, where:
figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a balsamic herb bag according to the present
invention arranged in the water held in a bath tub;
and
figure 2 is an enlarged scale perspective view of the subject bag.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0013] With reference to the figures of the drawings, the balsamic herb holding bag according
to the invention, which has been indicated at the reference number 1,is provided with
a perimetrical edge 2,therealong the two portions of filter paper forming the bag
have been firmly associated to one another, preferably by thermosealing,so as to provide
perfect tightness characteristics in cold and hot water.
[0014] Thus, the benefic substances of the balsamic herbs 3 can diffuse through the bath
water, while preserving this water in a perfectly clean condition.
[0015] From the above disclosure and the figures of the accompanying drawing,it should be
apparent that the invention fully achieves the intended aim and objects.
[0016] While the invention has been disclosed and illustrated with reference to a preferred
embodiment thereof,it should be apparent that the disclosed embodiment is susceptible
to several modifications and variations all of which will enter the spirit and scope
of the appended claims.
1- A balsamic herb bag characterized in that it is made of filter paper and is tightly
sealed so as to resist against either cold or hot water and specifically designed
for preparing beauty culture baths.
2- A bag according to claim 1,characterized in that said bag comprises two like sheet
portions of filter paper peripherally firmly associated with one another.
3- A bag according to the preceding claims, characterized in that said two like sheet
portions are joined by thermosealing.
