Mannitol having gamma sorbitol polymorph |
(57) Mannitol having the crystalline form of gamma sorbitol is made by co-crystallizing
relatively high mannitol containing sorbitol melt in a twin screw mixer. Tablets,
chocolate and chewing gum made with the co-crystallized product offer improvements
similar to those realized with pure crystalline components.
