    (54) Composition for the maintenance of cars

    (57) A composition for the maintenance of cars, based on a well balanced mix of active components. The present application enables the production of compositions suited for several special purposes, such as cleaning purposes, cleaning upholstery, removing stains from upholstery, cleaning a car, washing and waxing a car, cleaning the windows, as a cooling liquid, as a brake fluid, as a start promotor, cleaning and shining dashboards, improving the appearance of tires, repairing tires and defrosting car windows.

    Description

[0001] The invention relates to a composition for the maintenance of cars.

[0002] The maintenance of cars requires a lot of compositions to give every part of the car the care that it deserves. Further the ingredients of the compositions should be compatible and should be sufficiently aggressive to remove dust and stains etc. but not that aggressive that the coating of the car or other materials of the car are attacked. Well known is for example that an antifreezing agent for the windshield washer reservoir should not attack the rubber sitting of the windshield.

[0003] The inventors have made an intensive search for a series of car maintenance compositions that fulfil these exigences. The investigation resulted in a range of products that are easy to maintain, can easily be handled and have a good shelve life.

[0004] The compositions for the maintenance of cars of the invention are characterized in that they contain a well balanced mix of active components. More specifically, said compositions that are especially suited for cleaning purposes contain at least one surfactant.

[0005] The invention further provides compositions especially suited for cleaning upholstery. Such compositions are characterized by a content of sodium laurylsulfate, sodium laurylethoxysulfosucciate, carboxylated acrylic copolymer, demineralized water and optionally perfume.

[0006] The invention further provides a product especially suited for cleaning the whole upholstery, such a product is characterized by the following composition
