(57) A vinyl chloride base fiber for artificial hairs which comprises a copolymer comprising
85 to 70 % by weight of repeating units derived from vinyl chloride, 15 to 30 % by
weight of repeating units derived from acrylonitrile and 0 to 5 % by weight of repeating
units derived from at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable
therewith, which fiber has good beauty properties.
