    (54) Lever driving device for weft cutters in weaving machines


    (57) The purpose of the device consists in making possible disengagement of the weft cutter drive out of operation, in the course of the weaving machine operation with the possibility of performing a cut beyond the firm coupling synchronizing with the weaving machine speed or in the course of its stoppage. This is achieved by that the lever driving device is constituted by a pair of mutually resiliently mounted levers (4, 5) by means of a resilient spacing member (6), the driving lever (5) being coupled in its drive with driving cam (11) and the driven lever (4) with the tie rod (9) of the cutting jaw, the force moment of lifting the driven lever (4) being smaller than the force moment of the spacing of levers (4, 5).
