    (54) Improvements in or relating to safety razors


    (57) A razor head or cartridge (1) is provided on its skin engaging surfaces, e.g. caps (6) and/or guard (4) surfaces with an array of closely spaced projections (14) which, in use, produce a pleasant tactile sensation tending to reduce shaving discomfort.
    The projections (14) may be formed by closely packed flexible filaments, or by moulded fins or pillars.
