    (54) Driving system for a display device


    (57) A driving system for a liquid crystal display device having non-linear active elements. A voltage generating circuit for providing voltages to column electrode driver and row electrode driver comprises a bias voltage generating circuit and a selected voltage generating circuit.
    The driving voltage applied to the column electrode driver is not equal value to the driving voltage applied to the row electrode driver to thereby electrically compensate the asymmetry of the active elements.
