(57) A spinning pack for wet spinning a tow having at least 20,000 bicomponent acrylic filaments is described. The pack comprises a plurality of specially designed plates (20, 21, 22, 23, 24) arranged so as to provide filaments having a substantially uniform distribution of the components along the entire length of each filament and from filament to filament.
