    (54) Pressure measurement devices


    (57) A pressure measurement device and method involves placing a load cell (16) in a housing adjacent the pipe in which the pressure is to be measured. The housing comprises a main block(11) and clamping block(12). Pressure of fluid in the pipe distorts the pipe and this distortion is detected by the load cell (16) which produces a signal corresponding to that pressure.
