(57) The device for adjusting the working position of the bolt mechanism (1) for sliding
doors, windows and related items consisting of a rod (2) parallel to the direction
of sliding of the door or window, which has at the end projecting beyond the leading
edge of the door or window at least one catch (3) is improved by envisaging a screw
means (6), completely and independently housed in its own seat (4) which communicates
with the sliding housing of the rod. The screw means is free to rotate and axially
stable within its housing and upon it acts a positioning and thrust means (9) associated
with a slider which supports the rod and the device which moves it, parallel to itself,
between a fully backward position, of non-interference with the rod, and a fully forward
position, completely engaged with a threaded section of the rod and forcing the same
against the slider, passing through an intermediate position, of complete engagement
with the threaded section of the rod for a micrometric adjustment of the working position
of the rod itself.
