Abstract

 The toothbrush comprises, at one end of its handle (2), a removable bristle head (5) and, at the other end of the handle (2), a tilted mirror member (3).

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to an improved toothbrush including an interexchangeable bristle head and,at the other end of its handle,a tilted mirror member.

[0002] Several toothbrushes are already available which have different size and shapes and are provided with tooth cleaning bristles made of suitable materials and having different hardness characteristics.

[0003] However also known is the fact that,in order to properly clean teeth,several toothbrushes should be used,of different types with respect to their shape and the hardness of the cleaning bristles.

[0004] Moreover,hygienic rules suggest to frequently replace the toothbrush,in order to prevent the cleaning bristles from deforming at their tips and,which is most important,for preserving good hygienic conditions.

[0005] In this connection it should moreover be pointed out that it would be very advantageous if the tooth­brush would be provided with mirror means to easily inspect the mouth hollow and teeth.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] Accordingly,the aim of the present invention is to overcome the above mentioned drawback and meet with the mentioned need.

[0007] According to the invention,the above aim,as well as yet other objects which will become more apparent hereinafter,are achieved by a toothbrush which is characterized in that said toothbrush comprises an interexchangeable bristle head adapted to be coupled to one end of the brush handle and a tilted mirror member arranged at the other end of said brush handle.

[0008] Thus,the toothbrush according to the invention is provided with a mirror having an easy to grip handle,which can be used as required.

[0009] Another advantage of the toothbrush according to the invention is that the cleaning bristle head can be easily replaced in order to both use different shape and hardness bristles and to frequently replace the bristle head for hygienic purposes.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0011] With reference to the figures of the accompany­ing drawings,the toothbrush according to the invention is herein indicated at the reference number 1 and comprises a handle 2 to the end portions of which there are respectively coupled a small mirror member 3,having a slanted configuration,and a supporting arrangement 4 thereon can be quickly removably applied a cleaning bristle head 5.

[0012] More specifically,the supporting arrangement 4 is adapted to slidably receive therein the bristle head 5 which,as required,can be quickly and easily remov­ed from the handle to be replaced with another bristle head of different bristle shape and/or hardness.

[0013] While the invention has been disclosed and illustrated with reference to a preferred embodiment thereof, it should be apparent that the disclosed embodiment is susceptible to several modifications and variations all of which will come within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.

Claims

1- An improved toothbrush,characterized in that said toothbrush comprises,at the end portions of the tooth­brush handle,a removable bristle head and a tilted mirror member.

2- A toothbrush according to claim 1,characterized in that said toothbrush handle comprises an end coupling arrangement for slidably coupling said bristle head to said handle.
