[0001] The present invention has for object an on line bar collecting movable open channels
with transverse discharging means on transverse transfer plaque bed particularly in
hot rolling plants. The innovation finds particular even if not exclusive application
downwards the hot rollingmills in rolling plants to receive and to stop the longitudinally
advancing bars after cutting in length and deviation by means of shunter on parallel
ways (channels) to allow successive discharging on a respective cooling transverse
transfer plaque bed.
[0002] In Prior Art, different on line bar collecting movable channels with transverse discharging
means on transverse transfer plaque bed particularly in hot rolling plants, are well
known. This devices are complicated and expensive, present a high wear grade and have
speed limits for notable masses in movement, such plants involving in particular consistent
masses displacement. In many cases the entire structures of the channels is moved
e.g. rotary channels or oscillating channels, while in other cases the bar extraction
means from fixed channel are complex and easily tangled.
[0003] Purpose of the present invention is to obviate the above-mentioned drawbacks.
[0004] This and other purposes are reached with the present innovation as claimed solving
the exposed problems by means of an on line bar collecting movable open channels with
transverse discharging means on transverse transfer bed particularly in hot rolling
plants, characterized by the fact that it includes:
- in a tilted bar sliding plane, at least two reciprocate channel seats having at
least one open channel each one, laterally opened in "C" shape with tilted basis opened
toward a plaque of bar transverse transfer bed plaque, said sectors reciprocating
inside guiding walls in said tilted plane, being said sectors upper sliding in outside
position over said tilted plane and effaceable under said tilted plane, allowing each
bar to slide toward said transverse transfer bed plaque;
- in order that at lowering of said channels, bar receiving closed channels through
a lateral wall of the respective wall guides are realized whereas in upper outside
position over said tilted plane, said bars will slide down on said tiled plane toward
the adjacent underlying transverse transfer bed plaque.
In such way:
- the masses in movement are reduced;
- the extraction mechanism results substantially simplified and more reliable.
[0005] These and other advantages will appear from the successive specification exposing
a specified preferential solutions of realization with the help of the accompanying
drawings which particulars of execution are not to be considered limitative but exemplificative
only.
Figure 1 represents a diagrammatic view in transverse section of a device as per the
present invention with two channels for each reciprocable channel seat.
Figure 2 represents a diagrammatic view in transverse section of a device as per the
invention with one channel for each channel seat.
[0006] Making reference to the figures is appreciated that that the bar collecting and transfer
device regards an on line bar collecting movable open channels with transverse discharging
means on transverse transfer bed particularly in hot rolling plants, the device including:
- in a tilted bar sliding plane (4), at least two reciprocate channel seats having
at least one open channel each one, laterally opened in "C" shape with tilted basis
(1) opened toward a plaque of bar transverse transfer bed plaque (3), said sectors
reciprocating inside guiding walls (2) in said tilted plane (4), being said sectors
upper sliding in outside position over said tilted plane and effaceable under said
tilted plane (4), allowing each bar (b) to slide toward said transverse transfer bed
plaque (3);
- in order that at lowering of said channels (1), bar receiving closed channels (b)
through a lateral wall of the respective wall guides (2) are realized whereas in upper
outside position over said tilted plane (4), said bars (b) will slide down on said
tiled plane (4) toward the adjacent underlying transverse transfer bed plaque (3).
[0007] Advantageously the channel seats (1) reciprocates in guide walls (2) and their reciprocation
is realized by stems (1′) associated with oscillating arms (1˝).
[0008] Of course the number of the channels and the number of the channel seat bodies (1)
can be more than two and the channels advantageously can be even of different size
to allow receiving bars of different diameter.

fact that it includes:
- in a tilted bar sliding plane (4), at least two reciprocate channel seats having
at least one open channel each one, laterally opened in "C" shape with tilted basis
(1) opened toward a plaque of bar transverse transfer bed plaque (3), said sectors
reciprocating inside guiding walls (2) in said tilted plane (4), being said sectors
upper sliding in outside position over said tilted plane and effaceable under said
tilted plane (4), allowing each bar (b) to slide toward said transverse transfer bed
plaque (3);
- in order that at lowering of said channels (1), bar receiving closed channels (b)
through a lateral wall of the respective wall guides (2) are realized whereas in upper
outside position over said tilted plane (4), said bars (b) will slide down on said
tiled plane (4) toward the adjacent underlying transverse transfer bed plaque (3).
2. A device as claimed in claim 1, characterized by the fact that the channel supports
(1):
- reciprocate into guide downward wall means (2) to form a channel for receiving the
respective bars (b) and
- the reciprocation is realized by stem means (1′) moved by oscillating arms (1˝).
3. A device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the channels are two for
each channel support.
4. A device as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the channels:
- are two for each channel support.
- are of different size.
