    (54) Heating mats


    (57) A heating mat having a flat, constant temperature heating element. The heating element comprises a flat sheet consisting of a layer of composite graphite carbon and polyethylene glycol sandwiched between two sheets of plastic film. One of said sheets of plastic film having a strip conductor for connecting an electric current across the layer of composite graphite carbon and polyethylene glycol. The heating element is encapsulated by a cover to form the mat.
