    (54) Heat transfer recording apparatus and facsimile apparatus


    (57) A heat transfer recording apparatus for transferring the ink of an ink sheet (14) to a recording medium (11) to thereby effect the recording of images on the recording medium (11) has a first motor (25) for conveying the ink sheet (14), a second motor (24) for conveying the recording medium, recording means for acting on the ink sheet (14) to effect the recording of images on the recording medium (11), time counting means for counting a predetermined time after the phase change of the first and second motors (24,25), and control means for controlling the recording means so as to be driven after the lapse of the predetermined time after the phases of the first and second motors are changed.
