    (57) In an image printing apparatus utilizing an electro photographic technology, there are provided means for inputting a sort of paper stored into a paper supply cassette (110: 120) and constructed of a sort mark of the paper employed on the paper supply cassette and a sensor (410: 420), and also control means (500) for controlling a transferring apparatus (50), a better printing operation is achieved by varying a transfer condition depending upon the sort of the paper and simultaneously the sort of the paper stored in the paper supply cassette is transmitted to an information processing apparatus (600), whereby it can be recognized at a remote place which sort of the paper stored in the image printing apparatus has been set.
