    (54) Exhibition device basing upon two-sides cards with simulation of audio, video cassettes or the like

    (57) The exhibition device consents to submit to the choice of everybody a number of cards (4), having on their faces (A and B) respectively, the title with the corresponding picture (7) and the explaining wording (8), as usually present on the containers of previously recorded videotapes, of video 8, of compact discs and similar items.
The above mentioned cards (4) are fastened, by means of their passing holes (5), on the spring elements (3), which are fastened on the walls of the vertical panels (1) and, after one has read their back side (B) following the turning over with reference to the above mentioned spring elements (3), the explaining wordings (8) are shown printed in an opposite sense as to the one shown in the front side (A).

    Description

[0001] The invention concerns an exhibition device, which includes movable panels vertically fastened with hinges to the walls, wherein some two-face cards supporting means are present, suitable for simulating the outside faces of the containers of previously recorded video-tapes, video 8, compact discs and similar items.

[0002] It is well known that, nowadays, the sellers of previously recorded video-tapes, video 8, compact discs and similar items have considerable difficulties to display many different items of their products, due to the great surfaces required for it, in order to submit them to the choice of the buyers.

[0003] The containers of these products, in order to make the observation easier, are arranged vertically, lying on shelves, and presenting on the main face, on the front side, the pictures and the titles of the contents whereas on the back side there are the descriptions, printed in the same direction and way, and therefore legible after one has turned them over of 180° along a vertical axis.

[0004] According to the above, these containers cannot be vertically superposed or stockpiled when there are several elements, since they would not obtain their purpose, to be carefully observed on both sides, and consequently, since they remain individually displayed and isolated, even a few hundred of items cover the whole useful surface of the shop, with unsurmountable constraints as to enlarging the number and to making different titles.

[0005] The purpose of the invention is to supply some means to display all data corresponding to the pictures and descriptions as written on the front sides of the containers of video tapes, cassettes, compact discs and similar items, with an overall size as reduced as possible.

[0006] The purpose, according to the invention, is attained by means of a device comprising several movable panels, which are vertically fastened with hinges in a way which is similar to that of a book, to the walls or vertical supports or similar items, while on the faces of said panels one has secured in ordered positions on all the relevant surfaces, several elements to insert and support the corresponding cards, simulating the containers of the video tapes, of the compact discs and similar items, which can be observed and analyzed on both sides.

[0007] The above mentioned cards, for this purpose, are provided with passing holes along the upper edge in order to secure them on the supporting means, said holes being such that they permit also the turning over of said cards to the top, and the cards do report the main front side printed on the conventional side the same as in the real containers and the back page printed in the opposite side, in such a way that it can be easily read, after the above mentioned turning over.

[0008] The main advantage of the device consists in that the panel surface can be easily covered with different cards in several superposed lines, with a minimum overall size, and also in that, according to the thickness of the cards, usually very small, in every support means one can insert bundles of cards, which can be easily read in their titles and, after their turning over, in the descriptions of their contents.

[0009] The invention is explained in detail in the following, with help of the drawings which represent an example of implementation.

[0010] The figure 1 represents, in a perspective view, the device as implemented and carried out.

[0011] The figure 2 prepresents, in a perspective view, a card corresponding to a container of a video-tape, of a video 8, of a compact disc or similar item, in its position when the front side is displayed, and, in dashed lines, in the turned over position for reading the back side.

[0012] The figures represent a device for displaying some two-faces cards which simulate the containers of pre viously recorded video-tapes, video 8, compact discs and similar items, including several vertical panels (1), secured with a hinge (2) to a wall or to a standard installed on a supporting piece of furniture or on a similar item, and provided on their both faces with several click elements (3) in order to be able to insert, to support and eventually to replace the cards (4), through the passing holes (5), which can be found on the horizontal top edge (6) of the above cards.

[0013] In the front face (A) of each one of said cards (4), made of a plastified thin cardboard or similar items, there is the title and the picture (7) of the contents, while in the lower edge, to the right or to the left side, there is the catalogue number of the compact disc, of the video-tape, of the video 8 or similar items.

[0014] A further feature of the invention is, that the story and/or the contents explaining wordings are written on the side (B) of the cards (4), printed in the space (8) in such a way that, after a turning over to the top by approximately 180°, as shown in dashed lines (T) according to the figure 2, they are set in the correct position for reading. In such a way, however, the cards (4) are, with reference to the corresponding true containers of the compact discs, of the video-tapes, of the video 8 and similar items, printed with their back face (B) upside down as to the front face (A).

[0015] In a possible amendment, however, the cards (4) can be turned around a click hinge (3) installed vertically, and thus they can be moved the same as the pages of a book.

[0016] In this case the passing holes (5), two as foreseen, are made in the vertical side edge (9) of each card, and in the space(8), the description of the contents shall be printed in the same sense as in the front side (A).
