    (54) Improved double walled underground storage tank


    (57) An underground storage tank (1) is provided with a load-transmitting material (12) in the annular space between inner and outer walls (10,14). The load-transmitting material passes aqueous liquid and the stored product and so may be used with either wet or dry alarm systems.
