    (54) Roving chip collecting system for roving bobbin replacing apparatus


    (57) Disclosed is a chip collecting system for a bobbin replacing apparatus. It is an object of this invention to achieve full automation of the recovery of roving chips from the chip collecting chamber in a bobbin replacing apparatus, wherein the unnecessary roving chips are temporarily accommodated in a chip collecting chamber (17) of the bobbin replacing apparatus (12) through a suction pipe (18); upon arrival of the bobbin replacing apparatus (12) to the position where it opposes to a chip removing system (26), an exhaust pipe (21) is connected to the chip removing system (26) to communicate the chamber (17) to the outside, whereupon the roving chips in the chamber (17) are removed through the exhaust pipe (21).
