(57) A device for providing a warning, for example to motorists, when the relative humidity
of the atmosphere is approaching a level at which fog may occur, comprises an instrument
capable of measuring the relative humidity of the atmosphere, or an associated quantity
such as the dew-point, and an indicator or alarm which provides an audible or visual
indicator or alarm when the relative humidity is within a predetermined range of 100%.
