Bleaching process and use of quaternary ammonium compounds in bleach compositions |
(57) Use is disclosed of low levels of a quaternary ammonium compound as a bleach booster
for organic mono-peroxyacid compounds not containing an additional negative charge
in bleach solutions and in bleach (detergent) compositions comprising said peroxyacid
bleach compound.
Process for bleaching substrates is also disclosed by treating the substrate with
a bleach solution comprising said mono-peroxyacid and a quaternary ammonium compound
as bleach booster.
