    (54) Switch

    (57) In a switch with a circuit-arrangement for controlling the speed and for adjusting the direction of rotation of an electric motor, in particular for electric power tools, the maximum distance of travel of the trigger element (3,8) in the setting for anti-clockwise rotation is limited by a reducing pin (11), on which the inner end (10) of an anti-clockwise stop (9), provided on the trigger element (3,8), comes to rest. The adjustable stop element (4,5) which itself determines the distance of travel is only effective in the anti-clockwise direction for speeds below the maximum speed.
