    (54) Non-moire shielded window

    (57) An EMI/RFI shielded substrate, preferably a window or CRT screen is disclosed. The conductive pattern is formed of a series of randomly distributed vertices interconnected with linear and/or curvilinear elements. The pattern is formed by moving the vertices of a normal rectangular grid from their established x,y coordinates to new x′,y′ coordinates which are a small distance from the x,y coordinates at an angle, α , which is from 0° to 360°. Preferably, the vertices are displaced by an increment that is 50% or less of the distance between the vertices of the x,y coordinate pattern.
