    (54) Light-sensitive silver halide photographic material

    (57) Disdosed is a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, which comprises at least one coupler represented by the following formula (I) and a fluorescent substance precursor which can form a fluorescent substance from an eliminated component released from the above coupler at the time of color development, or from an eliminated component released from the above coupler and a color developing solution component at the time of color development

wherein Cp represents a coupler residue ; SR1 represents a group eliminated at the time of coupling with an oxidized product of a color developing agent during development processing; and R1 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, a substituted alkyl group, a substituted aryl group and a substituted heterocyclic group, and a method for processing a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material, which comprises color development of a light-sensitive silver halide photographic material under the presence of a coupler represented by the above formula (I) and a fluorescent substance precursor which can form a fluorescent substance from an eliminated component released from the above coupler at the time of color development, or from an eliminated component released from the above coupler and a color developing solution component at the time of color development.
