    (57) Bubbles are generated by electrolysis in a liquid (4) such as an ink in a nozzle (1) and the liquid is discharged from the nozzle according as the bubbles grow. The amount of discharge is controlled by the voltage of and application time of current to be applied, i.e., the amount of electric energy to be applied.
